Workshop Financiamento Sustentável- OCDE

As pequenas e médias empresas (PME) desempenham um papel central no processo de transição verde, sendo responsáveis por uma parte muito significativa da atividade económica e do emprego, com o consequente impacto ambiental. Neste contexto, promover o financiamento verde é determinante para apoiar as PME a investir em projetos e iniciativas sustentáveis, que lhes permitam reduzir custos, melhorar a eficiência e aumentar a competitividade, enquanto contribuem para o cumprimento dos compromissos ambientais assumidos por Portugal.

 

Direção-Geral das Atividades Económicas, a OCDE e a Comissão Europeia, em parceria com a Imprensa Nacional Casa da Moeda e o Banco Português de Fomento, organizam na manhã do dia 27 de fevereiro de 2024, na Biblioteca da Imprensa Nacional, em Lisboa, o workshop “Fostering Green Finance for Portugal’s SME”, em formato presencial.  

 

 

O evento tem por objetivo a partilha de experiências internacionais, europeias e nacionais, sobre os desafios e oportunidades que as PME enfrentam no acesso ao financiamento verde. 

Trata-se do segundo workshop organizado no âmbito do projeto “Supporting industrial ecosystems in Portugal through fostering the green transition of SMEs, green entrepreneurship and business incubation and acceleration systems”, que decorre do Instrumento de Assistência Técnica da Comissão Europeia.

 

As conclusões do debate serão um importante contributo para os trabalhos em curso no âmbito do projeto mencionado, cujos resultados serão apresentados no início de 2025.

Financing SMEs for Sustainability in Portugal

      12:00-12:30 I Roundtable on key challenges and opportunities in financing SMEs’ sustainability pathways in Portugal.

 

The roundtable will be driven by the following questions:

 

  • What are the key challenges that you see in financing SMEs and entrepreneurs for greening in the current policy and regulatory context?
  • What are the key priorities for policy and regulatory action?
  • What does the private sector (private Fis, corporations, ESG intermediaries, consulting service providers, accountants, etc.) need to do to help accelerate SMEs’ green transition and foster green entrepreneurship?
